ERSTE HILFE. Triptychon zur COVID19 Pandemie

Zu Beginn der Covid19 Pandemie dokumentierte Martin Schitto die Situation des Krankenhauspersonals:  Arbeiten in voller Schutzausrüstung, die z.T. von den Mitarbeitern selbst zusammengestellt wurde (man beachte die Filtermasken!). Die Aufnahmen entstanden im April 2020 am Ende einer Frühschicht auf der Covid-Station des Klinikums Aschaffenburg Alzenau.
Die Installation war eine der meist fotografierten Arbeiten auf der Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt 2021.

At the beginning of the Covid19 pandemic, Martin Schitto documented the situation of hospital staff: working in full protective gear, some of which was put together by the staff themselves (note the filter masks!). The photographs were taken in April 2020 at the end of an early morning shift at the Covid ward of the Aschaffenburg Alzenau Hospital.
The installation was one of the most photographed works at the Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt 2021.
